Coin Vulcano

FR Land dropped onto my phone with almost no fanfare, and I ended up playing it far longer than I expected. It's a gentle simulation about raising a little town from a single dirt path into a busy, tidy place. You place roads, homes, and small workshops, and the residents slowly move in and start their routines. There's no rush anywhere — you can leave it, come back, and pick up exactly where you stopped.

Controls are tap and drag, which sounds basic but the game handles it well. Pinching to zoom feels smooth, and dragging buildings snaps to a grid without fighting you. The interface tucks menus out of the way so most of the screen stays on your town. I appreciated that everything saves locally, so I could keep building on a long bus ride with no signal at all.

What kept me hooked was the balance. Resources come in slowly enough that decisions matter, but not so slowly that you're staring at a loading bar. There's a satisfying rhythm to laying out a neighborhood, watching it fill in, and then planning the next patch of land. It never nagged me to hurry.
