Lantern Woods

Lantern Woods is a mood more than a game, in the best way. You guide a lost traveler through a foggy forest, tapping to move and solving gentle environmental puzzles. There's barely any text, and the atmosphere does the heavy lifting.

The puzzles lean on observation rather than obscure logic. You'll notice a pattern in the trees or a sound cue and use it to open the next path. Nothing is so hard that you'll reach for a walkthrough, but a few moments made me pause and grin.

It's short — maybe three hours — and it works fully offline. I'd recommend playing it in one or two quiet sittings with headphones. It's the kind of thing that stays with you afterward.
